“My last chance! This is my last chance to find relief.” That’s what I told myself as I sat waiting to see Dr. Venis for the first time. Silently I reviewed in my mind the last two-and-a-half years. Blurred vision, headaches, neck pain and stiffness, vomiting and severe stomach cramps were the reasons I was here. That, and the fact that my family medical doctor had failed to provide a successful treatment for my health problems. Treating me for ulcers and stress with Tagament and tranquillizers had not helped me whatsoever.
Finally, a friend convinced me to give chiropractic care a try. So, I had made this appointment; but I had my doubts…many doubts. Well, those doubts were soon dispelled. I found Dr. Venis and his staff to be friendly, respectable and very professional. Dr. Venis recommended a treatment program of a number of chiropractic adjustments to my neck and lower back, along with other supportive therapy as needed. After carefully following Dr. Venis’ instructions, I am very pleased to relate that the stress and pain are at a minimum. I feel wonderful!
Just as I had told several friends at work, I would tell anyone who is experiencing health problems: If your medical doctor isn’t helping, ask him about chiropractic care, or consult with a chiropractor yourself. I, for one, am very thankful I took that “last chance”. Chiropractic care has brought my physical drawbacks under control!
I am Now Pain Free and Drug Free
When I first came to Dr. Venis, I had low back pain (sciatica) with shooting pains down my left leg while standing. My walks were reduced to less than 10 minutes, two times a week, which made me very uncomfortable due to the pain. I also had severe headaches that came on suddenly during exertion, causing dizziness and nausea. The headaches originated at the back of my neck going up and around to the front of my head, I thought my head would explode!
After treatment, I now feel relieved and pain free. I now walk/jog 3 to 5 miles four times a week with no back pain or headaches. My primary doctor, only gave me a prescription medication for the pain. I now am pain free and drug free.
My Leg and Hip Pain is Gone!
For three weeks I had suffered from severe hip and leg pain which kept me confined to bed. I took all kinds of pain pills looking for relief, but nothing helped, as it felt like something was out of place.
I had never been to a chiropractor before and was unsure of what to expect, but I felt very good about Dr. Venis and his clinic on the first visit. Dr. Venis prescribed daily visits in conjunction with moist heat. After a very short time, “I felt great!”
As a result of my good experience with chiropractic, I have told all my friends about it. To anyone suffering in pain, I would say, “Go for it!”. I would recommend chiropractic to anyone!
